Overview
In Smartdocs 360, instead of deleting an entity when all its documents are removed, users have the option to disable an entity. This ensures that all associated documents remain securely stored and can be reactivated if needed.
Important Notes:
-
When an entity is disabled, all its documents remain securely stored.
-
A disabled entity will incur a charge on the 1st of the next month, with no further charges thereafter.
-
You can reactivate a disabled entity at any time.
Steps to Disable an Entity
Navigate to Entities on the left-hand toolbar |
1. Locate the Entity to Disable2. On the right side of the entity name, click the three-dot icon (•••).
3. From the dropdown menu, select Disable.
4. A confirmation message will appear. Select Disable.
Reactivating a Disabled Entity
If an entity has been disabled in Smartdocs 360, it can be reactivated at any time. Reactivating an entity restores access to all its documents, allowing you to continue managing and working with them as needed. See How to Reactivate a Disabled Entity in Smartdocs 360
