When I go to process and publish an invoice to Xero, I receive "Validation Error - You have reached the limit of invoices you can approve".
Solution
This error is triggered by your Xero subscription limit. Some Xero plans restrict the number of invoices or bills that can be approved or created each month.
Once this limit has been reached, Xero will prevent any further invoices from being processed until the limit resets or the subscription is upgraded.
To resolve this, you can:
- Review your current Xero plan and its monthly transaction limits
- Wait until the next billing cycle for the limit to reset
- Upgrade your Xero subscription to a plan with a higher limit
